The Gyalwang Drukpa

Upon returning from the teaching tour in Europe, just a few minutes after I arrived at the hotel, I met Gyalwa Lorepa's reincarnation. It was the first time that we met in this life and it was a great and very moving moment for me to meet him and his lovely family. I gave him a long life prayer I wrote for him only yesterday. It was such a pleasure to be able to pass the text to him personally, as I was not expecting to meet him today.

This sort of miraculous meeting in this life again, if you like, is really what we call "Tendrel" that no human being can make arrangement for such a happening in this life, unless it is our destination to meet. I want to thank Karma Rinpoche for taking Lore Tulku and his family physically to the hotel. I was so moved that it is still very difficult for me to describe how I feel, after all, Gyalwa Lorepa was a very close disciple of the First Drukpa Tsangpa Gyare and even served as his guru's close attendant until his guru's passed away. So, you can even say that our Tendrel already ripened more than 800 years ago in distant Tibet and in between there was a long gap, and now finally we met again. "Ten" means "dependency" and "drel" means "karmic connection", so "Tendrel" can be explained as interdependent connection, meaning all the phenomena are interdependent on each other, therefore nothing exists on its own. So this was a great "Tendrel".

On Lore Tulku's forthcoming birthday (10th April), he will be officially enthroned during the First ADC. There is also one very important thing I forgot to mention is that at many people's requests, I have decided to display the precious self-arising Chakrasamvara relic of the Fourth Drukpa Kunkhyen Pema Karpo during the First ADC. There will be at least one more enthronement of an extremely important master of our Dragon Lineage, which I won't tell you until the right time. You just have to keep coming back to read my web to find out more, I am sorry for that.

It would also be nice of Tulku Heruka in Nangchen if he can start preparing himself to join these young tulkus in the training under my guidance. I wonder how Tulku Heruka is doing these days. I am hopeful that he will do very well in benefit of the lineage and the beings.
