I was thinking to make the ADC programs more interesting so that everyone will learn about the different Himalayan cultures. So I have made these changes for Khamtrul Rinpoche to make arrangement. Chakrasamvara Drubpa will take four days, starting from 6th April and ending on 9th April. Everyday, after short and early dinner, by 6pm, we will enjoy 1 hour of cultural performances, each day of one different culture. By 7pm, everyone should be back in the assembly hall continue with the teaching programs. Monks and nuns will also be joining, so the organising committee also needs to arrange for simultaneous translation to Tibetan and Ladakhi. On the opening and closing days, we will include more programs, without affecting the present programs. Other programs should remain the same, there should not be any changes.
For Khamtrul Rinpoche, I have set a schedule for his teaching programs. Since Rinpoche is a direct emanation of Guru Rinpoche, a lot of beings will be benefited through initiation programs by Rinpoche that are related to Guru Rinpoche as well as Avalokiteshvara. After joining us in the walking pilgrimage from Kullu to Ladakh, he has to prepare for his teaching tour that I have planned for him and the centres in these places have to start making arrangement for his visits NOW:
| 10th-15th July | Hong Kong 10th-12th: Initiation of Guru Padmasambhava & Avalokiteshvara 13th-15th: Teaching on 37 Bodhisattva Practices |
| 16th July - 15th August | Taiwan On 25th July, there should be a big program celebrating Choekhor Duchen, the anniversary of Buddha's first teaching |
| 16th-31st August | South Korea |
| 1st-15th September | Malaysia Initiation of Guru Padmasambhava & Avalokiteshvara Teaching on 37 Bodhisattva Practices |
For Thuksey Rinpoche, since he is still studying and I am very worried about his studies and results of examination, he should be spending more time in Bhutan, so that he can concentrate on his studies and do well for his examinations. Besides joining me in the forthcoming trip to Ladakh in February, next month, both he and Khamtrul Rinpoche, and many other Rinpoches will be joining us in the forthcoming walking pilgrimage from Kullu to Ladakh.
As for myself, I think I will give Malaysia and Hong Kong a break this year, they need time to make arrangement for my visit next year and be well-prepared for it. The various organisers there should join us in Taiwan and Vietnam.
| 5th-12th November | 5th-8th Nov: Chakrasamvara Drubpa 9th Nov: Live to Love Concert 11th Nov: Drukpa Chia Yi |
| 13th-29th November - | Vietnam |
This is all for now. There may be more updates and changes later on.
