As the recent natural catastrophe has been affecting Taiwan very badly, I feel that I should not give extra headaches to my friends and students in Taiwan, while they are either busy helping so many victims in affected areas or recovering from the crisis. Of course, my prayers are there all the time, whether I am physically there or not. I think for the time being, at least for 6 months to 1 year, it is important that my people there in Taiwan concentrate on Live to Love activities through different means, helping the victims to rebuild their confidence and homes, especially the children and the aboriginal people in Taiwan whom I heard from the news were the most affected group of people.
From where I am now, from the depth of my heart, I am sending my love, prayers and support. I wish my followers will do their best to fully concentrate on helping these victims, who are like a part of our family. For this reason, I am officially announcing that my journey to Taiwan will be postponed, so that everyone who was originally involved in organising my visit will be having one-pointed focus to help all the victims. I am very happy that quite a number of my representatives and our centre members have already been actively in the affected areas helping the victims, especially Drukpa Chiayi under the guidance of Lama Sonam has been giving a lot of help to the victims in Chiayi, one of the affected areas, through spiritual activities and material help. I look forward to hearing from them their progress in Live to Love. From everywhere, I am sure my friends and students will also be joining me in my prayers and my efforts in benefit of all the suffering beings. The new date of my visit to Taiwan will be decided at a later stage when everything settles down.
