Life Release & Nyungnay 10th June 2007
The Life Release and Nyungnay programs organised by Druk Foundation of Hong Kong went very successfully. The happiest thing is that Asian Sangha behaved very well during the activities and they really tried their best to practise and accomplish the few sets of Nyungney and by reconfirming their qualities through my observation these few days, this made me so happy as a guru. They just left Kathmandu yesterday, everyone had a big smile on their face.
This time, we together with some other Dharma friends in Calcutta accomplished two big projects. One, hundreds of thousands of lives were released on the most precious day of the year, the day of Lord Buddha. I want to thank Lama Lodo Gyatso for his effort. Two, the Avalokiteshvara practice of Nyungnay on Druk Amitabha Mountain went spectacularly well. Instead of feeling tired or relieved at the end of the Nyungnay, these students even requested me to let them come and participate in the same retreat next year. Isn't that a fantastic news? If you are not a good follower, you would never think of saying that sort of things.
Well, I hope I can provide opportunities for spiritually qualified practitioners to undertake beneficail deeds, so that these lucky people can happily join together and accumulate merit for all of us, since life is short but precious, why not just use it for beneficial activities, why waste it? Don't you agree?
