I want to officially announce that the First Annual Drukpa Council will happen between 27th December 2008 and 5th January 2009. Please mark your calendar. I am happy to announce that Drubpon Ngawang will be the organising chairperson, with Khenpo Shedrub Tenzin as the deputy chairperson. I want to call upon all my friends and students to give them all the support.

Drukpa Plouray will be organising my visit to Europe in April 2009 and it will also be the main organiser for the 800th anniversary celebration for our Drukpa Lineage in Europe in June 2010.

From now onwards, a countdown for Naropa's Millennium Anniversary will take place together with all the 800th anniversary celebrations of the Drukpa Lineage. In 2016, if I am still here, since so many devotees have been requesting me over and over again, I will be putting on the Six Bone Ornaments of Naropa for the 4th time in this life and together with this ceremony, we will begin celebrating Naropa's Millennium Anniversary for the following 10 years. These celebrations are to remind us all how lucky we are to be associated with a genuine spiritual lineage that provides a non-violent approach to living a peaceful and happy life. We should take all the chances that we can find to thank our lineage forefathers for leaving us a legacy of Great Love. I will announce more details on my web when I have some time to think. I want to get my people to be ready, please don't complain I never give you all enough time to prepare.
