When Gyalwa Gotsanpga meditated in a Vultures' nest high in the Himalayas, he took a vow, "You, the bird, the rock and I, the man, until I realise the oneness of the three, I will not leave this spot." He indeed achieved enlightenment after that.
My Old Friend, Kunzang Tenzin
8th July 2008
After so many years, my old friend Kunzang Tenzin, better known as Lama Surya Das, finally came to Druk Amitabha Mountain. I still feel very sorry that I wasn't able to spend much time with him.
“Love is such a wonderful way to interact with others. True and genuine love is about sharing and about giving. The act of giving does not reduce what you have, instead gives you more than what you can ever expect. I always feel that a person who is genuinely filled with the happiness and joy of living is one who has a loving and sharing mind. Genuine happiness is the reflection of an open heart, with the ability to accept everything, good or bad.”
